about

Manchester Emergency Medicine was formed and is run by two practising emergency medicine consultants.

Since the College established its own examinations there have been a number of developmental changes. Our experiences with trainees taking clinical OSCE style examinations led us to develop a formal course to help people who often struggle with this hurdle.

We have since moved on to support other components of the examinations. Most recently we are looking forward to supporting candidates taking the FRCEM intermediate component. Future developments may include other components of the examinations.

Whilst our name would imply that we are Manchester centric, we do in fact use specialist colleagues from all around the North Western region. All of our tutors have a track record in successfully coaching candidates through the clinical aspects of professional examinations and are evaluated after each course.

Hopefully this site will answer most questions that you have about our courses. If it doesn’t, then please email us to ask. We will endeavour to reply as promptly as we can but may not be able to provide an answer to your query straight away.
